I love quilting, I love quilting, I love quilting! It's one of the ways for me to connect with the light of creativity. Yet I simply couldn’t wait for the final piece to come out, and this tests my patience a lot, I mean really a lot.
This is my first king size quilt ever made so far (refer picture below). I name it Siesta In Eggplant And Pineapple Garden. Why so? Hmm, the idea is inspired by my childhood country living, where the wooden house my grandparents lived in was built before WWII and with sufficient live stock for the family members and business had somehow invited other creatures from the eco system community to join our food supply. And one of these tribes, a well prospered tribe, not only had meals, but feast occasionally with 'Chinese opera' music played from the ceiling, my grandma therefore extended her welfare to cats brought back from the village wet market. They were house keepers for all and playmates for the young ones. Here is one of the snap shots of them taking nap serenely at the backyard garden.
I hope you have your sweet stories threaded from the sacred place of your heart to others you would like to share the vibration of your happiness!
Yours humbly

The Transformation - Picture ArtFrame
It was from this silence that I was dawned with an idea of a lovable piece of art, I call it Picture Artframe!
? What is this
it is a piece of art with a touch of quilting beauty and useful to hold photo(s) or picture(s) of different sizes and even notes!
? How does it function
Mainly made from fabric, within a single Artframe, it may display the following unique features:
i) Holding photos or pictures of different sizes that fit in lovably and easily;
ii) Multi-functional - to frame photos, pictures or even to pin notes on it;
iii) Can be flipped like a graphics program and enjoy different frame choices;
iv) Can be rotated like a graphics program and display subject in its original orientation;
v) Light enough to hang onto any structures.
? Where I can display it
You can NOW display your inspiration pictures or notes by just tying the 2-open-arm ribbons around and then hanging the Artframe onto walls (glass wall, if you would like to), cupboard knobs or handles, car seats, beds, it is especially safe in children’s rooms. You can even lean it on a shelf of books or stander on your working table, or bring it along in your travels.
? Hmm, how do I make or own one
I am happy to offer you to join this fun of creativity!

Hey, the post you left on my blog was really interesting. I really like your blog. I want to get into quilting- i saw this sea turtle pattern in a store and it was beautiful. Do you go by a ready made pattern, or do you make your own pattern?
I make my own pattern. I learned the technical stuff from ready made pattern and megazines. And I am still learning.
