Being and Time Travel Design

I was reading an article titled Asian Craftsmen’s Timeless design. It is about designers curving back in time and from which discovering traditional fabric printing techniques or motifs that some natives used in crafting their costumes and transferring this knowledge into their transformation for the modern eyes. When I finished reading it my heart was telling me that the survival of these beauties is due to one simple thing – BEING. No matter how far time has travelled the essence of being of the beauty observed by the creators is still captured in their very ideas. Be it the printing technique or the motifs by the natives, the souls of these creators were so present in the process of creating them and they were just being. To me this united them with everything else, hence the power of presence brought about ideas that dear and close to people’s heart till nowadays. I think that’s why I find them attractive and unique too.
